Navigating the Admin User Page in Kubit

Updated over a month ago

The Admin panel is the primary area where users with Admin level permissions can manage:

  • User Access to your Kubit environment

  • User Roles to define various types of access users can have

  • User Groups to easily assign users to the correct group of Roles and Permissions

You can find the Admin panel in the top left under user options. If you are not an Admin you will not see this option.

Users Page

When you enter the Admin panel you will see a list of all users who have logged into Kubit. It will also show the Last Login and Joined dates to better manage new vs. existing users.

Adding Users

Via your SSO provider you can provision access to Kubit. Once the user has been granted access through your organization they will be able to log into Kubit and will appear on this list after first login.

Viewing Users

Click on the vertical 3 dots to the far right side of a user and select "View User". This will give you more detailed information about that user and the Groups and Roles they have assigned to them.

Edit User Permissions

Once you've selected View User you are able to change that user's permissions by using the edit pencil in the upper right corner.

You are able to update the Groups this User is a part of or the Roles they have permissions for.

Disable Users

From the main Users page and the same vertical 3 dots menu you are also able to Disable a user from being able to log into Kubit.

If you choose to re-enable them follow the same flow and select "Enable User".
