Check out our new Roles and Permissions feature, Improved dashboard tables & UI improvements

Updated over a week ago

Kubit continues to improve it's UI and simplifying the process of building reports to gain insights. With this we've also launched a brand new Roles and Permissions model that gives Kubit Admins fine tune access to users' permissions.

Roles and Permissions Feature

The Admin panel is the primary area where users with Admin level permissions can manage:

  • User Access to your Kubit environment

  • User Roles to define various types of access users can have

  • User Groups to easily assign users to the correct group of Roles and Permissions

Additionally Kubit has allowed Admins to create custom Roles or Permission Groups.

You can find the Admin panel on the left hand navigation underneath "Incidents".

If you are not an Admin you will not see this option.

To learn more about specific user roles and the access associated with them you can review this Help Center Article.

Improvement to Table View of Query in Dashboard

Originally when users added a Query in Table View to a dashboard the first columns showing the Measure or Breakdown group represented were not locked.

Now we will follow the same experience in Query and lock those columns when you view a query in a Table View.

UI Simplification

In an effort to remove noise and clutter within the Report building experience, Kubit has begun storing more Advanced settings or features within each Report in an "Additional Settings" drop down.

The values of this drop down will change based on the Report you are building but will be the more nuanced use case settings or additional advanced settings like "Sampling".

Simply select the "Additional Settings" you want to change by checking the box next to them and select "Confirm".

Once Confirmed you will see them appear in the top row of settings and you are able to make any changes. Once the Report is executed those Additional Settings will be visible to any users that sees the Report.
